Waiting for longball fever?
Weather forecast for tonight's Sox/Dodgers game at the Cell: Hot and humid, with temps in the 80s.
In other words, good luck to tonight's starting pitchers Hiroki Kuroda and John Danks, because that baseball is going to fly through through the air like nobody's business.
The Sox mashers have to feel like its Christmas morning. On the other hand, the pitchers... things could be better.
Playing in their home park, with the DH, and home run derby weather conditions... the Sox short foray into National League Smallball is ov-ah.
It's officially summer in Chicago.
